By default, my work is for personal use only. You must pay accordingly for commercial use.

I, the artist, will always hold the rights to any of the work I do. This includes both commissions and designs, and means that I am allowed to post the works on any platform, promote myself with it, etc. If you, however, are not comfortable with this or wish for me to wait to show it, please let me know beforehand.

I, the artist, will always reserve the right to refuse any commission requests. In other words, I do not have to accept a commission if I feel unable to complete it, I'm not comfortable, or any other reasons that may arise.

Both the artist and the client do not hold the right to use the work in any blockchain-related technology, including NFTs, cryptocurrency, or future inventions in the space. If any of my work is seen in relation to this technology, it is stolen.

I, the artist, do not allow my style to be replicated using A.I. generation or any A.I. technology/site. If you see work that I did not create by hand, it is theft.

Payment will be taken via invoice after approval of sketch. The full amount is expected to be paid within 48 hours, unless discussed prior. Please let me know if you need more time, I will happily accommodate. However, do note that I do not continue with the commission until I am paid.

Refunds are not available at this time. That being so, please be certain that you want/can commission me.

Please provide visual references, especially when commissioning an original character. Digital is preferred, but traditional will be accepted if it is clear and coloured. If the character has a Toyhou.se, please feel free to link them to me.

Rush orders or deadlines are not accepted.

You may occasionally ask for updates and/or WIPs at any time. I don't often share any unless I need client input or if asked.

Slight changes, edits, etc. are okay. Just let me know and I will check back with you.

You, the client, alone may repost the commission, but it must be with proper credit linking back. The exception is Toyhou.se, since you already do link back to me.

Payment will be taken upfront, unless discussed prior. An invoice will be sent and the full amount is expected within 24 hours.

Holds can be made for an additional 24 hours after the initial comment. This makes for a total of 48 hours to pay the invoice. If you fail to get the money to me within that time, the design will be open for someone else.

If you want to redesign, do not directly edit the art. Please redraw it on your own, commission someone to do that for you, or ask me to edit it, if you really wanted.

Keep the original design somewhere, even if you redesign it. This is in case that you give the design to someone else and they want to revert to its original.

Once you receive a design, it is yours. Previous owners cannot retain additional rights with a design (such as preventing you from trading, reselling, etc., or needing to ask for approval to trade, resell, etc.). This is true no matter what.

For resales, a design's worth is based on its art and value. This means that any art you create and any commissions you purchase of the design contribute to its worth, as well as what you paid for it in the first place. Appraise fairly.

For trades, a design's worth is not affected by the higher worth of another design. This means that designs that are traded for a character of higher value does not apply to the worth or value of the design traded for.

If a design is obtained via a gift, its worth is reset to $0. This means that it does not retain its previous worth and, therefore, cannot be resold for that worth. However, any art and commissions obtained after that do contribute to its worth.

Designs that are edited to portray harmful or offensive material can and will be revoked immediately. No questions asked.

Designs with pre-determined identity traits may be changed, but with sense. I understand that identity is fluid, so I'm not going to be super restrictive on things. Just don't, for example, make a transwoman a cis man, or make a lesbian straight. Doing so will get the design revoked and you blacklisted.

In regard to dark-skinned designs, you are not allowed to lighten their skin. No "if"s or "but"s about it. You are allowed to darken it, if you wish.

If someone is blacklisted, they may not receive anything from me. Please do not buy commissions for or trade/sell/gift my designs to blacklisted users. If you are found doing so, you will also be blacklisted.
